The Virgin Gaming "Get Your Edge KZ3 Challenge" (the "Tournament") will run from June 27, 2011 at 7:00 am ET to August 12, 2011 at 11:59 pm ET, and will consist of a Tournament Qualifying Period, a Semi-Final Round and a Final Round (as defined below). By entering and participating in the Tournament, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Tournament Rules (the "Tournament Rules") and the decisions of Virgin Gaming, 524 Queen St. W., P.O. Box 52453, Toronto, Ontario, Canada M5V 2B0, which shall be final and binding in all respects.

ELIGIBILITY: Subject to the following, the Tournament is open to U.S. residents who are at least eighteen (18) years of age before the start of the Tournament. The states of Arizona, Connecticut, Maryland, North Dakota and Vermont, as well as residents of U.S. territories including Puerto Rico, and all other countries, are ineligible to participate in this Tournament. Employees, officers, directors and agents of Virgin Gaming, Intertaintech Corporation, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe LLC ("SCEE") and Energizer. their advertising, media buying and promotional agencies, assigns, parents, affiliated and subsidiary entities and the immediate family (spouse, parent, sibling, child) or members of their same households (whether related or not) of such employees, officers, directors and agents are not eligible to participate in the Tournament. Virgin Gaming shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity, date of birth and/or eligibility to participate in the Tournament. Failure to provide such proof if requested shall result in disqualification. The Tournament is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase or payment of any kind will not improve your chances of winning. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. Tournament will include a qualifying period, semi-finals and a final round. These condensed rules, and the full rules as contained within the website, supersede all previous versions of rules written and/or published for the tournament.

HOW TO ENTER: Individuals who choose to enter the Tournament ("Entrants") may do so during the Tournament Qualifying Period by navigating to the URL http://VirginGaming.com/KZ3 (the "Website") and typing their PlayStation Network ID, email address where indicated. No entries will be accepted by any other means. Entries that are lost, late, illegible or incomplete for any reason will not be eligible. Teams may only register for one entry into the Tournament. If it is discovered that an Entrant has entered the Tournament multiple times, that Entrant will be disqualified from the Tournament and deemed ineligible to win a prize. An Entrant is only eligible to win one prize.

HOW TOURNAMENT WILL WORK: NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY. The leaderboard itself will run for 6 weeks, from June 27, 2011 at 7:00 am ET to August 8, 2011 at 7:00 am ET. The main leaderboard will be based on team play. Teams will be 3 vs 3 as a max. The winner of the match will be based on the XP points (NOT KILLS) acquired during the match. The team with the most XP points at the end of the match will be declared the winner. Each team will be granted one (1) token for participation, and the winning team will be granted one (1) additional token. The qualifying period will be based on the team that has the most points at the end of the 6 weeks (the "Tournament Qualifying Period"), after which time no further entries will be accepted. Once they have registered for the Tournament through the Website, entrants may play the Game as many times as they wish through the VirginGaming.com website during the Tournament Qualifying Period to earn Tokens. Registered entrants who play the Game during the Tournament Qualifying Period will have their team scores recorded by Virgin Gaming and receive Tokens as follows:

* One (1) Token for each team game played, or;
* Two (2) Tokens for the winning team of each game.

During the Tournament Qualifying Period, a leaderboard will be established displaying the highest ranking Entrants at http://VirginGaming.com/KZ3. The Game scores and ranking of each Entrant shall be determined by Virgin Gaming at its sole discretion.

At the close of the Tournament Qualifying Period, the 32 teams who have accumulated the most Tokens (each a "Finalist") will advance into the next round (the "Semi-Final Round") to compete for the Grand Prize. Each of the 32 teams will be randomly seeded into a Tournament Bracket where they are to play their scheduled opponent. There will be one Tournament Round played per day, until one team is left. The Tournament will run from June 27, 2011 at 7:00 am ET to August 8, 2011 at 7:00 am ET. Virgin Gaming reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate the leaderboard/tournament, in whole or in part, and/or modify the leaderboard/tournament in any way, at any time, for any reason without prior notice.

PRIZES AND PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: At the end of the Tournament the top 20 teams will receive a cash prize in accordance with team’s final standing and the following payout schedule, Main Leaderboard- Team Based (3 v 3)

1. The Winner of the Final Round ("Grand Prize Winner") will receive the Grand Prize of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00).
2. 2nd Place: Seven Thousand, five hundred Dollars ($7,500.00)
3. 3rd Place: Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00)
4. 4th Place: Three Thousand, five hundred Dollars ($3,500.00)
5. 5th Place: Two Thousand, Two Hundred and fifty Dollars ($2,250.00)
6. 6th Place: One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00)
7. 7th Place: Eight Hundred Dollars ($800.00)

Week 4, Best shooting % - NOTE: in order to qualify, the user must play a minimum of 10 games during the week.
Week 5, Most Games played.
Week 6, Most Mission XP Points.

Eight Hundred Dollars ($800.00) will be awarded each week for the duration of the leaderboard, to the weekly individual leader.

A prize may not be exchanged for cash, is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-saleable, and must be accepted as awarded, without substitutions. In the event that a prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded as described in these Tournament Rules, Virgin Gaming reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent or greater retail value. The winner is not entitled to the monetary difference, if any, between the actual prize value and the stated approximate prize value. Prize will be distributed to the winner within one (1) month of receipt by Virgin Gaming of a properly signed Release (as further described below). Each prize is awarded AS IS and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warrant of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) by Virgin Gaming.

Winner shall be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, and the reporting consequences thereof, and for any other fees or costs associated with the applicable prize.

ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of Entrants and the skill level of each player.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: At the conclusion of the Tournament, the Tournament winners will be posted on the Website. Winners will be notified by email within twenty-four (24) hours of the determination. Each winner will be contacted by Virgin Gaming within five (5) days from the time of notice of his/her selection; and (ii) sign and return the Release (as further described below) to Virgin Gaming within the timeframe indicated on the accompanying letter to successfully claim the prize or such prize will be deemed forfeited. In the event of any dispute concerning the operation of any element of the Tournament or these Tournament Rules, the decision of Virgin Gaming will be final.

RELEASE: Finalists will be required to execute and deliver to Virgin Gaming a legal release ("Release") that confirms, the Finalist’s (i) eligibility for the Tournament, and acceptance and compliance with these Tournament Rules; (ii) acceptance of the prizes as offered; (iii) release of Virgin Gaming, their parent, related and affiliated companies and entities, subsidiaries, members, dealers, advertising, franchisees, promotional agencies and each of their respective directors, successors, sponsors, partners, licensees, officers, subsidiaries, agents, employees, artists, advisors, assignees, and all others associated with the development and execution of the Tournament (collectively, the "Releasees") from any and all liability in connection with this Tournament or participation in any Tournament related activities. If the Finalist is not the legal age of majority in the state in which the Finalist resides, parent/guardian of the Finalist must sign the Release and confirm that the Finalist was least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. These Tournament Rules are additional to and do not supersede the Release and in the event of any conflict between the Release and these Tournament Rules, the Release will prevail.

PUBLICITY RELEASE: By participating in the Tournament, each Entrant: (i) grants to Virgin Gaming the right to use his/her name, email address, mailing address, telephone number and other personal information, if any, provided to the Virgin Gaming ("Personal Information") and the Entrant’s Game data for the purpose of administering the Tournament, including but not limited to contacting and announcing the winners; and (ii) grants to Virgin Gaming the right to use his/her Personal Information for publicity and promotional purposes relating to the Tournament, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Entrants who have opted-in to receive marketing communications agree that Virgin Gaming may use his/her Personal Information to contact him/her with marketing and other promotional messages related to products and services of Virgin Gaming. In addition, by participating in the Tournament all Entrants acknowledge and agree that Virgin Gaming may disclose their Personal Information to third-party agents and service providers of Virgin Gaming in order to effect any of the activities listed above.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering this Tournament, each Entrant acknowledges compliance with, and agrees to be bound by, these Tournament Rules and consents to the use of his/her name, city of residence, and/or likeness in any publicity carried out by Virgin Gaming, and SCEE, and Energizer, or their advertising and promotional agencies and agents without further notice or compensation. Entrants release and hold harmless the Releasees from and against any and all manner of action, causes of action, suits, debts, covenants, contracts, claims and demands, including legal fees and expenses, whatsoever, including but not limited to, claims based on negligence, breach of contract and fundamental breach and liability for physical injury, death, or property damage which the Entrants or his/her administrators, heirs, successors or assigns might have or could have, by reason of or arising out of the Entrant’s participation in the Tournament and/or in connection with the acceptance, use and/or misuse by the Entrant of the prize (including any travel or travel-related activity thereto).

All entries become the property of Virgin Gaming. Neither Virgin Gaming, nor its parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies, directors, officers and employees (for the purposes of this paragraph, collectively, the "Tournament Administrators") shall be responsible for or bear any liability for: (i) late-received, lost, unintelligible/illegible, incomplete, or misdirected registrations, entries or Game scores; (ii) entries or game plays which fail to comply with the Tournament Rules; (iii) any technical or human error that may occur in the administration of the Tournament, including any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, all of which may affect an Entrant’s ability to participate in the Tournament or the ability of Virgin Gaming to receive and/or record and Entrant’s Game score; and (iv) any unauthorized human and/or mechanical intervention in any part of the entry process or the Tournament.

As a condition of participating in this Tournament, Entrant agrees that (1) under no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, (2) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Tournament, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and (3) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but shall in no event include attorneys’ fees.

Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this Tournament is a violation of the Tournament Rules and criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Virgin Gaming reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entrants agree to abide by the Tournament Rules.

Virgin Gaming reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and/or void any entries submitted fraudulently, to terminate the Tournament, in whole or in part, and/or modify, amend or suspend the Tournament, and/or the Tournament Rules in any way, at any time, for any reason without prior notice. CHOICE OF LAW: The Tournament is subject to all applicable federal, and municipal laws. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Tournament Rules or the rights and obligations as between the Entrant and Virgin Gaming in connection with the Tournament shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada.

When do things start and end?

The leaderboard begins June 27, 2011 at 7AM ET and will run until August 8, 2011 at 7AM ET, during which time teams will earn tokens for all Killzone 3 games that are played on the PlayStation®3.

If your team is among the top 32 of the leaderboard when it ends, you'll be automatically entered into the Online Tournament which begins on August 11, 2011.


Am I eligible to play?

The Leaderboard Challenge, which allows for Tournament qualification, is open only to legal US residents, excluding residents of Arizona, Connecticut, Maryland, North Dakota, Vermont, and Puerto Rico who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of June 27, 2011. Unfortunately, residents of other countries are not eligible to play.

How do I play?

Once you have a scheduled match with an opposing team, here's how you play Guerrilla Warfare in tournaments:

* Add your opposing team's members to your friends on PlayStation Network.
* Launch "Multiplayer" in Killzone 3.
* The first time you enter this lobby, it will ask you to set your region.
* Choose 'Create Custom Game'
* Within the 'Match Details':
o Set the match mode to 'Guerrilla Warfare'.
o Map voting should be set to 'Off'.
o Set 'Unlocks' to 'All' to ensure a fair, level playing field.
* 'Restrictions' MUST be set to 'On'.
* Within the 'Maps' section, the host should only choose one (1) map for the match, the rest of the maps should be set to 'None'.
* Change the length of the mission to '10 Minutes' in the 'Missions' menu.
* Select 'Invite To Squad' and add players from your Virgin Gaming team, then select 'Invite to Enemy Squad' and add players from the opposing Virgin Gaming Team.
* Hit 'Create Game' and the match will begin.
* Once the match is completed, simply press X to return to the 'Custom Match' lobby.

IMPORTANT

* Note: All free games set up in Guerrilla Warfare – Body Count mode qualify.
* Inviting an opponent: Make sure all players on your team and the opposing team have joined the game before it starts! If you’re having trouble getting into the same match, ask the captain of the opposing team to send the invitation.
* Confirm your tag: Ensure that your PSN ID in your VG profile is correct. Make sure you invite your opponent using their PSN ID.
* If any player leaves the match at any time, their score will be set to zero (0).
* If any player is detected as switching factions or teams during the match, the match will not validate and will need to be played again.

What are the weekly challenges?

We can’t contain this awesome Leaderboard Challenge to just team play, so we’ve added six separate weekly challenges that will test your skills in areas like most headshots racked up and accuracy. These challenges are individually based, so you can’t rely on your team to do all the hard work. But if you win, you get to keep the loot yourself!

There are six weekly challenges in total:
The individual winner of each weekly leaderboard will win Eight Hundred Dollars ($800) for themselves!
Week 1, Total Kills in one week
Week 2, Most Headshots in one week
Week 3, Most Melee Kills in one week
Week 4, Best Shooting % over one week
NOTE: in order to qualify, you must play a minimum of 10 games during the week.
Week 5, Most Games Played in one week
Week 6, Most Mission XP Points in one week

These weekly individual leaderboards will be updated once a day (approximately 12PM ET).

Getting Set Up

* Register (PS3 Only) or Log In (PS3 Only)
* On VirginGaming.com, enter the Killzone 3 team lobby ("Play Now") from your home screen.
* Find an opposing team and schedule your Guerrilla Warfare – Body Count match with them on VirginGaming.com by clicking the Challenge button next to their team name in the team lobby.


Creating A Team

* You can create a team through your HOME page by clicking on the "start a team" banner which will take you to the team setup page. Here you can create your team's name, tell us a bit about your team while including a custom avatar. Be sure to 'save all' to complete the creation of your team.
* You can invite a friend to join your team during team creation through your friends list. You can also invite other members to join your team through the online activity section of your team profile page using the 'search' tab. Use the 'search' to enter their username, click "invite" and an invitation will be sent to their message center. Only the captain can invite people to join a team.



Playing Killzone 3
